Street Fighter V
Main Menu Redesign - Exercise
The Challenge
The original SFV main menu suffered from severe cognitive load, featuring 19 fragmented options, poor visual hierarchy, and an unappealing store layout. The challenge of this personal design exercise was to simplify player decision-making and give core gameplay modes the prominence they deserved.
Impact & Results
Proposed a revamped information architecture, grouping the menu into clear, affinity-based categories. Replacing dense vertical listings with horizontal, bumper-navigated cards (L1/R1) and an adaptive immersive background radically reduced visual stress and accelerated game-mode selection.
